Before the Cold War, America played a key role in helping its ally, Stalin, achieve many of the goals of his Five Year Plans. YANKS FOR STALIN profiled Americans -- from industrialists to factory worker volunteers -- who traveled to the Soviet Union during the Great Depression to assist in building the "second America." Directed by J. Mitchell Johnson.
