“Bolshoi” Russian Media Coverage on Abamedia Doc

Russia – October 25,2013 – Abamedia is the welcome recipient of “bolshoi” — great — Russian television and online media coverage about its in-progress documentary, Saving the Wooden Churches of Russia (see Currently in Production). The film features Alexander Popov, a remarkable architect and builder from the Vologda region, as well as the noted British architectural photographer, Richard Davies. Uniquely, Alexander utilizes ancient axes and natural technologies to restore ancient wooden churches with his bare hands. Abamedia President and CEO J. Mitchell Johnson came to know and greatly respect Alexander for his work on recreating the Russian windmill at Fort Ross, California — which is the subject of multiple upcoming Abamedia documentaries (see Currently in Production).
